Jenna Fischer was best known for her portrayal of Pam Beesly (the character of The Office) on TV. The role she played earned her an Emmy nomination in the Most Outstanding Supporting Actress category. She also was awarded two SAG Awards, both for exceptional performances in an ensemble comedy.
Her mother, Anne, was a performer in church theater while she was a kid, which instilled a love for theater and performances in Jenna. Jenna watched her mom, Anne, perform in church plays when she was a child and was able to instill a love of theater and performance.

She is the writer of two books: The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide In it, she recounts her experience to St. Louis to Hollywood and her journey to becoming a successful actor. She is also the author of Office BFF's: Tales of The Office from Two of the Best Friends Who Were There (co-authored by Angela Kinsey), which is an account of their most memorable friendship and time working in The Office.
